Understanding ROOTOPATHY

Is ROOTOPATHY a new therapy?

It is an approach to whole-person care and coordination, not one particular therapy. It brings relevant medical and daily-life information together. Each professional works within their verified scope.

What does “whole-person diagnosis” mean here?

A diagnostic assessment that considers your health history, symptoms, records and relevant circumstances together. It is not a single test that finds every hidden cause. Uncertainty and any need for further assessment should be explained.

Do I have to leave my existing doctor or treatment?

No. Necessary medical care continues. This website is not an instruction to change medicines; changes should be agreed with the responsible treating clinician. Coordination with other doctors requires appropriate permission and agreement.

Will everyone receive Ayurveda, homoeopathy or yoga?

No. Listing a professional or approach does not mean it is suitable for every patient. Need, evidence, risks, interactions and patient preferences should be discussed. More therapies do not automatically mean better care.

Choosing a consultation

What exactly is included for ROOT Clarity?

Coordinated virtual history-taking with multiple doctors and your whole-person diagnosis only. Physical examination, individual prescriptions and a coordinated treatment plan are not included in this option.

What is included in the ROOT360 pathway?

Virtual history followed by a thorough in-person examination by a trained doctor, with relevant clinical photographs taken with consent. This is followed by the relevant doctors’ input, their individual prescriptions where indicated, and one coordinated plan from day one through completion of the agreed care pathway.

What if the diagnosis cannot be confirmed virtually?

The doctors explain the limits of the available history and records and may advise an examination, tests or referral. A physical examination is not included in the ROOT Clarity option.

Is the examination at home or in a clinic?

The ROOT360 pathway includes an in-person examination. Agree its location, service area and timing with the team before booking. Home-visit availability needs confirmation.

Are medicines, tests and every follow-up included?

The consultation includes the services described above. Confirm the scope and any extra charges for tests, medicine purchases, procedures and later visits. The plan’s duration and review arrangements should be explicit; it is not a promise of unlimited visits or guaranteed recovery.

Caregivers, privacy & booking

Can I book or join for someone I care for?

Yes, with the patient’s permission or appropriate representative authority. Explain your role and whether remote participation is needed. Making a booking does not automatically grant access to records.

Will examination photographs appear on the website or social media?

Permission for clinical photography is not permission for public marketing. A public story or testimonial requires separate, specific consent and publication review. Patient photographs and records are shared through the agreed care process.

What happens after I request an appointment?

The team reviews suitability and availability, then offers an appointment with the format, assigned clinicians, fee and scope. A request is not a confirmed appointment. Submit your details through the appointment request form to begin.

What if I need urgent help?

Do not wait for a routine website form or chat reply. For an urgent or rapidly worsening problem, seek local emergency services or the nearest emergency department.

More practical information

What does Rootopathy help with?

It is a physician-led care-coordination service for complicated situations involving multiple conditions, treatments, reports or doctors.

Does it replace my existing doctors?

The intended role is to connect the care picture alongside existing care, not to replace necessary treatment or every specialist.

Who is the coordinating physician?

Dr Prashant Raj Gupta is the lead coordinating physician. See his doctor profile for qualifications, clinical experience and registration details.

Which consultation should I choose?

ROOT Clarity is a starting conversation about your story and priorities. ROOT360 addresses a more involved picture. If unsure, ask the team for help choosing and confirm what your consultation includes before booking.

Is ROOT360 a diagnostic test?

No. ROOT360 is a structured conversation across health and daily-life domains, not a diagnostic test or fixed checklist.

Will I receive a written report?

Ask the team which written summary or care plan is included in your chosen consultation.

Are all professional consultations included?

Do not assume this. Relevant professional input, availability and any separate charges must be confirmed.

Should I send all my medical records now?

The first request asks only for a brief concern. Secure record-sharing instructions and required documents must be confirmed before clinical intake.

Can a caregiver make a request?

A caregiver can request care for someone else with the patient’s permission or appropriate authority. Patient and caregiver details are recorded separately. Access to the patient’s records requires separate authorisation. Agree caregiver participation and information-sharing permissions with the team.

Should I stop my current medicines?

Do not change prescribed treatment based on this website. Discuss any change with your treating clinician.

What happens after the consultation?

Follow-up timing, format and any additional fee are agreed with your clinician and the team.

Does submitting a request confirm my appointment?

No. A submitted appointment request is stored for staff review, followed by a separate offer and confirmation where appropriate. Preferred dates are not confirmed availability.

When is payment collected?

Pay only after reviewing the payment instructions and terms supplied for your appointment. A payment reference requires verification and does not itself confirm an appointment.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Contact the team before your consultation to request a change. Rescheduling depends on availability; refund requests are assessed individually under the cancellation policy.

How soon will someone contact me?

Contact the team Monday-Saturday, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM IST. For an existing request, check your patient account or contact support; no immediate response is guaranteed.

How will my information be handled?

Appointment forms transmit information to the server and completed requests are stored for authorised review. Closing the browser does not delete a submitted record. Read Privacy & Data Use for details and how to contact the team about your information.

Can I use this for an urgent problem?

No. For severe, sudden or rapidly worsening symptoms, seek immediate medical help rather than wait for a routine appointment request. In India, emergency services can be reached on 112; elsewhere use local emergency services.
